Jahnke to exhibit new artwork during Venice Biennale 2024
Robert Jahnke has been invited to showcase his work at the European Cultural Centre's Biennale Exhibition, 'Personal Structures,' running from April to November 2024 at Palazzo Mora in Venice, Italy. This exhibition runs parallel to the famous Venice Art Biennale 2024.

Bob Jahnke included in forthcoming Maori Art documentary
Bob Jahnke will be featured in a Contemporary Māori Art documentary exploring the landmark Toi Tū Toi Ora exhibition at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, curated by Nigel Borell. The documentary, directed by Chelsea Winstanley and narrated by Taika Waititi, highlights key figures and works from the exhibition.

Jasmax appoints Professor Robert Jahnke as expert cultural advisor
Professor Robert Jahnke joins Jasmax to guide their bicultural approach to architecture and design, aligning with Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Jahnke will mentor Waka Māia, Jasmax’s te ao Māori advisory group. His collaboration with Jasmax builds on a shared history, including the design of stained-glass windows for Te Papa's Rongomaraeroa Marae.

Professor Robert Jahnke wins prestigious Wallace Art Award
Professor of Māori Visual Arts Robert Jahnke has won the prestigious Wallace Arts Trust Paramount Award for his sculpture Lamentation VI. As part of this honour, Jahnke will receive a six-month residency at the International Studio and Curatorial Program in New York.

Jahnke bestowed with Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit
Renowned Māori artist and Professor of Māori Visual Arts at Massey University, Bob Jahnke (Ngāi Taharora, Te Whānau a Iritekura, Te Whānau a Rakairoa o Ngāti Porou), has been honored as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his outstanding contributions to Māori art and education.
